Théière
Don't talk about gaskets to me! Our pellet stove had it's yearly check etc early December. We smelt smoke shortly after - it took two visits to discover that one of the flue gaskets had been split. So far - it is still on order...importer out of stock... time of year ...etc !!!!
Order some gasket material and make your own, not rocket science more Blue Peter. Mikew
They are specially shaped ( like a < ) circular silicon and are used where one pipe slides into another. Heat and CO make a proper replacement necessary!

Théière
Thanks Johnnyboy, good to know, what is the outside temp where you are?Your panel return temp seems quite high, could you reduce that and get more heating out into the room/water? Maybe slowing the pump down a little?
johnnyboy
Sorry T, OAT is outside air temp, just an aviation term that I've used!As for control of the pump speed, thats automatic through the heating system controller. I do have a sort of control by selecting permanently on or off or just leaving it on automatic, but thats all. The system is supposed to work that all out for itself, not sure if there is any way I can get a seperate speed control installed.J.
Théière
Thanks johnnyboy and for OAT. Hmm what sort of pump is it?It maybe more complex than I think as slowing the pump may of course overheat the panel so maybe a slightly bigger heat exchanger is a better option? If a higher tank temperature is needed then maybe not
