  1. Just one thing, If you can, bend the plasterboard along its length eg, along the 2400mm side, fit the plasterboard horizontally its difficult to bend along the 1200mm side for obvious reasons
  2. I not sure if I made myself clear, I live in the UK and have 1 house in france,
  3. For a typical 100mm wall; you will need 2 formers 70mm wide cut to the radius of your curve.18mm mdf or ply will suffice. These will form the head and sole plate of your wall, you can then screw 70mm studs at 600mm or 400mm centres, depending on your radius, to the head and sole plate. The framework once positioned can then be boarded both sides with 12.5 mm plasterboard. 9mm plasterboard is available if the radius is tight. This framework can be insulated in the normal way.   Hope this helps
  4. Hi all, We have just bought our 1st property in france which has a shop underneath with a seperate electric meter. We don`t intend to use the shop any time soon, but we still recieve bills for the second meter (I presume its a standing charge). Is there anyway we can stop this 2nd bill as we don`t use the power downstairs in the shop? regards Hugh
  5. Hi all,   Can anyone tell me is it possible to get a rebate/reduction on the taxes foncieres on a second home in france?   Kind regards  Hugh
