I think that some people move abroad for the wrong reasons

When in Rome. Hopefully moving near Pontivy within weeks. I have got to improve my French very quickly. My wife and I are retiring to France for the very reason of integration and "going native". Surely that is the reason why most people want to move.

The house I intend to buy has a bottle gas cooker which is in need of replacement.Are they very expensive?I had to come home early this week because of emergency in the family, so I did not have time to look.Any advice would be welcome.

I said Dinard because relatives are in the Essex area.No good them going to midlands to catch a plane.I was trying to get comfirmation on info I had about Stanstead.

My wife and I hope to move out  very shortly to France.I have sourced info about health insurance.What are the premiums to be paid monthly.I keep hearing about high prices.I am 61 ,my wife is 58.We have both taken early retirement.Any feedback would be welcome.

I have just read your post.I only joined today.Subject to selling my house during this"recession",we hope to move to the Charente.We have owned a mobile home in Brittany for 6 years,but it can be a tad cold and wet.I have just taken early retirement with a company pension so I think we will manage ok.
