1. This is getting so tedious and boring! Why do you keep raking over old ground? Why are you determined to keep this up? This thread would have been pulled long before it got this stage. Are you as stupid and ignorant a woman as she, or are you just pretending?
 2. He really is obsessed with the male organ[:P] You know the Italian stallion (Sylvester Stallone) well, one of Furry's old flames used to call him  "the paki pony" [blink]
 3.
Cynthia, It matter not a jot to me what your race, skin colour, religious persuasion or dietary wishes are but I find your 'anti-white' comment to be seriously racist, totally unacceptable and way out of line. I would ask for an apology but I suspect I would be wasting my time.
Would you care to elucidate?
 4.
Perhaps Coops and ~ would like to say what they would have done if they had been in the  green room with Carol Thatcher ?
I really don't know what I would have done. What would you have done (really)?  I suppose you have to have some kind of admiration for someone that does admit that they are racist. Have you got that video yet?
 5.
"You make me ashamed to be "white"  (Sorry, Cynthia, I don't seem to be able to quote you directly, possibly because your user name is a symbol?) I wouldn't worry, Cynthia.  I don't feel ashamed to be the colour I am (also white), just because there are other people in the world who have white skin who are bigots. I had a brief relationship with a black American airman once.  He often used to remark about other whites who would stare at us, and conjecture that they found our relationship somehow distasteful.  It never occured to me, but it was a deep-rooted reaction to him and he was alwaysvery  aware of the effect we had when we were together in public.  I am prepared to believe that there will be some black people, somewhere, who would be offended by being called "golliwog", "sooty" or the n word which the third person in line for the British thrown seemed happy to use.  Thus they are offensive and I wouldn't use them.  My father would have been horrified if he'd thought he'd brought me up to think they were acceptable in any way, shape or form and I respected his judgement above most other people's so, as said above, no matter how many people try to tell me that it's somehow OK to use racist epithets, I will never agree with them.  There is no argument that they could put forward which will ever change my mind on this one.
The trouble with most racists is that they are totally oblivious to their bigotry. How many times I hear "I'm not racist, but" or "I'm not racist, I have black friends". One of my old neighbours said she worked with a black man, but he did wash himself.
 6.
I would guess that all the replies that seem to think it's ok to use these terms, are from white members of the forum? That says a lot about them. Really - perhaps you should read this http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/yasmin-alibhai-brown/we-pretend-to-be-united-but-racism-festers-among-the-ethnic-minorities-701419.html
Hello golliwog, how are you? Why don't you and your like mided posters, go out into the real world and say that to the next black or Asian looking person you see? Let me know their reaction.
 7. The black hen also lays white eggs.
 8.
Totally agree Russethouse, the assumption that racism is always directed from the majority towards the minority is also totally wrong. In fact that 'guess' (i would guess that all replies ....are from white members) is in itself a racist comment if you want to get petty.
So, what colour are you and Russethouse? Have either of you been called golliwogs? You make me ashamed to be "white" [:(]
 9.
Chief is in a better position to answer this than I, but what would Sooty's life and career be worth if he told Charlie Boy not to address him by such a racist epithet?  Of course he and Harry's mate have to appear to be "OK" with it.  No non white would be happy in the army if he were not willing at least to put up with this kind of thing as it is clearly condoned in many parts of the armed services, thus Harry's so called friend puts up with it - he has little choice given his chosen career.  Yes, they put up with it and probably laugh it off, but deep down, do we really know for sure that they are "happy" with a situation where it is acceptable to call them names? Sorry, I don't care what the rest of you think, to me it is not now, never has been, and never will be, acceptable to call people unkind names which reflect their race, creed, colour, sex, or sexual orientation.  And I just don't get this "words don't hurt" idea.  How many people have been really upset by things said in this very place?  Enough to prove that old addage wrong anyway.
This is the most sensible reply I have read on this thread, and I think an appropriate post to put this whole thing to bed. I would guess that all the replies that seem to think it's ok to use these terms, are from white members of the forum? That says a lot about them.
 10.
I would gladly swap mine for a Cocker Spaniel!
Would you really, Mr. Floppy[:-))]
 11. Is this your only source of entertainment? It's all been said before, so why not find an alternative hobby? Have you tried counting your body hair? that should pass an hour or two. You just don't know what to do with yourself, do you? It would be much livelier if Russethouse was not away polishing her Capo di Monte.
 12. You can buy a 5 bed detached house with heated swimming pool in Stoke on Trent for that kind of money.
 13. That must have been a sad day! Furry had a Sebring replica Healey with a Chevrolet 5.0 V8, it was fabulous fun[:D]
 14. Is that a Jaguar XK in your avvy? Is it yours? Lucky guy!
 15.
It may just be me but does anyone else feel that there's a sort of toilet or naughty school boy sense of humout insidiously creeping onto the forum?
The people that post here are all so much alike, they could all be the same person. Nuclear fizzycysts are in abundance but are there any swanuppers here? NO!
