I'm really sorry if the french is terrible, also, I still haven't configured my properly keyboard for accents, remember i've learnt french only for three months, i'm still going be practising french for sometime and I hope to join the next level sometime next March. Thanks. Gideon
  2. Thanks so much Sue. Je amour ton signature!
  3. I don't know enough french to write a full email, I hope to know by December(which is when my course ends), my English is pretty fluent though. I plan to write in English and a little in French. I emailed someone from that website you mentioned, the person replied completely in French, I could understand around half of the letter, I used google translate for the rest, and I responded in English first, then quite a few sentances in french.  =P. Thanks
  4. Oh, I just turned 18 two months ago so yea, no problem I guess. It would be difficult to correspond with someone who knows very little English though, I would end up using Google Translate a lot then! And its not very accurate.

  6. hey thanks so much I like this Christophe Willem guy, sound more like a girl to me though! lol, I got the album inventaire i think, I'm even going to put these songs on my cellphone!!=)
  7. hi, Um.. i'm a little confused now! I don't use accents because I've been learning French properly only for a month now and I don't really know where to put accents(I can see its a important?), i use a *small* 'i' because i'm a young computer geek and i post a lot of questions on technical forums with absolutely brilliant people, so its my way of sounding polite and less egotistic. Is this enough of an un raveling? I want a penpal because I have two, one from Iceland and another from Canada whom I've known for nearly 4 years now, I've even sent letters, coins, postcard overs, its something i like a lot, I find other cultures and countries very interesting, especially since i've never gone out of my country or never been on a plane for that matter. Recently I've found French and France very interesting so i figured i could maybe find a French penpal. I hope i didn't say anything wrong? Thanks so much
  8. hi, Thanks so much for your help. I managed to get Repenti by Renan Luce, its cool. Does anyone know songs more upbeat like rock/pop, this was more slow and acoustic. About the movies, Oh i did'nt think of getting french versions of english movies! Good idea. I can manage to get french movies from a number of places with english subtitles, I just saw MR73 so far(which was extremely explicit and violent!!) but ok. I'm looking for something modern so I can understand french culture too, and something easy to comprehend. I'm looking up the movies you put odile, thanks! Oh books sound good, but I dont know that much french so would t do any good reading comics like Tin Tin first in english then in french? Thanks so much
  9. Bonjour, I'm learning french at Allianz Francase and I was hoping to make a french pen pal to learn more about the French language and culture. I'm  an 18 yr old guy. I'm very good at being a penpal btw, I have 2 in far off countries whom i've kept in touch with for years now and I occasionally even exchange snail mail(regular postal mail). I'm hoping to meet someone around 18 -20 yrs old. Thanks so much,
  10. Bonjour, I'm learning French at Allianz Francase here, I've been searching songs and movies lately but i've found nothing, I watched MR73 so far and then I got some sylvie vartan songs but I can't find any lyrics. Could someone point me to some good pop rock artist/album, whose lyrics I can find! Also a few good movie names would be nice? Merci Boucoup
