Hi, We both have French Driving Licences and do not seem to have filled in the form correctly because some entitlements are missing. I now find myself requiring to drive a vehicle over 3.5 tonnes. Does anyone know the procedure to add extra entitlements to the licence? Thanks

Hi, I am sure that this question has been asked before but here goes. I wish to purchase a fishing licences for 2012 instead of the day licences as now. I have a publication called "Vienne Peche 2011" which seems to give two different prices, presumably, for different areas. First "La Carte Personne Majeure" the second "La Carte Interfederale Majeure". As a senior citizen living in the Vienne and, possibly, wanting to fish outside this area, can anyone advise the correct licence to purchase and a suitable shop to get it? Thank you for any help you may be able to offer.

Hi, I have just acquired another vehicle with the new style number plates. The vehicle was originally registered in dept. 65. I realise that I do not have to change the number plates but am wondering if I can just get the small reference plate that identifies my home dept. Can anyone help? Thanks

I have been a resident in France for some 4 years.  recently, my UK photo card licence expired after 10 years.  On contacting DVLA, I was informed that, as I am resident in France, I am not entitled to a replacement even though my paper copy expires at age 70. Subsequently, I have applied for and received a French licence.  On checking the  categories it doesn't appear that there is a category for towing a trailer.  I have been awarded A,A1,B and B1 categories. Does anyone out there know the law on towing with these categories? Thanks

We have had a couple of grape vines for a few years now with good success.  Last year we potted the "sticks" that we pruned thinking that we may increase the crop in the coming years.  Consequently, we ended up with another nine plants which we have subsequently planted.  We have now been told that we should plant new vines in multiples of two.  Is this correct or not?  Can anyone help? Thank you
