Hi I have scanned through some very useful threads on the forum but some area little old on this topic and I was wondering if things had moved on a bit as I have not quite found the answer I was hoping for :- I have a new 2009 Kawasaki ZX-10r and my company are to relocate me to Toulouse in January (Hurrah !), this will be permanent move so I am looking to import, register and reinsure my bike in France , does the 100bhp limit apply to me importing my own bike for permanent use in France ? is insurance likelyto be an issue on a UK full power spec bike ?, I am 41 with 9 years NCD. Fingers crossed as I don’t really want to part with the bike. Many thanks for anyone’s guidance / advice here, Chris

Hi can anyone recommend a good tiler & a painter decorator, we are in the Carcassonne / Limoux area. An indication of their daily rate would also be helpful.   Cheers Chris 

Sounds like your stove is not getting hot enough. Ensure your wood is well seasoned and if possible use a good mix of oak / ash. Open up the air vents a touch more to get the stove working and hot , hopefully this will then reduce the sooting.   Chris    

We have a small villa in Pomas which lies between Limoux & Carcassonne and are looking for a gardener to drop by every other week to mow the lawn , weed , adjust the sprinklers etc. Does anyone know of someone in the area who is reliable and reasonable  on cost. many thanks Chris
