  1. Hi there, I moved to France last year and I had my BHS stage 3 and National Diploma in equine.  I went along to my nearest (biggest) equestrian centre and they assessed me and gave me my gallop 7 so I could start competing with the FFE.  I also had to join the FFE and set up an online account so I could enter competitions.  Your horse has to have the Dam and Sire on his passport/papers also a microchip and up to date vaccinations.  You will need your vet to come out a do the paper work (copy of horses marking) for you, then you can register him/her with a Sire Number which you need from Pompadour to register your horse to compete.  If anyone needs any help with registering please contact me, My email is [email protected] This is only to compete in affiliated competitions I do not know how you go about unafflilated by I would suggest you to go along to a centre and get in with a club.  It cant be any more complicated!
