Hi, we had the same letter last week.  Tried everything, made sure the size was OK, etc.etc.  Anyway went down to our local CPAM and saw the grumpiest of grumpies.  She took one look and chucked it back at me and said 'lunettes'.  My husband had his glasses on and apparently the face has to be 'nude'.  So if this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have just arranged for a transfer of funds to France from UK and our lovely bank!!!!! has done it in sterling instead of changing it into euros before leaving them.  Will this cause a problem with our bank here (sorry if I sound thick) or will we be met by a lovely charge?

I know this sounds stupid but is an Isle of Man account classed as a UK bank account.  I filled in all the tax forms last year except the bank account one and took them to the local tax impot office who checked them and they didn't mention this form.

Just for information we went to the CPAM on Monday.  The information they required was a full birth certificate including details of parents names and occupations.  Luckily I had one of these but my OH didn't.  He only had a half certificate giving his name, date of birth and where he was born.  This was not accepted and we have had to apply for a full b.c. from UK.  No translation needed!

Have I got the translation correct, are they asking for translations?  The whole paragraph reads, Je vous remercie de bien vouloir me faire parvenir le present courrier accompagne: d'une copie integrale de l'acte de naissance avec filiation complete, lisible, precisant le commune, le department ou le pays de naissance.  Cette piece doit etre authentifiee, et le cas echeant, traduite.

I have received a letter today from CPAM asking for our birth certificates so they can issue our Carte Vitales and also saying Cette piece doit etre authentifiee, et le cas echeant, traduite.  Does this mean we have to get it translated or do they accept English as a standard language!

I too have received a letter from CPAM at St. Gaudens today saying that we are now in the system (E106 expiree's) and we have also been asked for money from 6th January - 30th September.  If only we could have known, we could have  gone to the doctors, got the brown forms and saved them for this day!!!! instead of nearly having heart failure over private insurance and then having to cancel it all again.  Lets hope it only gets better (at least the weather is good!)
