a british passport is good enough to buy and sell property in france these days -
the pound was 1.02 euro on dec 30 but now its 1.12 but if the bank of england print more pounds with quntitive easing will the pound get lower again

i live in the uk normally so can i rent my house out in france to maybe a french family on benefit, do people rent there property out to people on benefits in france like they do in the uk

thanks for reply, im living in the uk at the moment and i cannot speak french, i should have said that, and i know I can request someone from credit agricole to ring me and speak in english but i expect it will be a call centre some where and will not be able to help

has anyone got a mortgage or bank with credit agricole in niort, ive got a 10 year fixed rate mortgage and 3 years left to pay with the ca in niort, i wonder if i paid it off now will i save on the interest or will i have to pay the same amount that i would have paid anyway

when the central banks go to "quntative easing" next year, it could make exchange rates go crazy but the banks might freeze the exchange rates until the economy is stable in 2010

i will not use my wood burner because it smokes the house out, i use electric heaters and 2 jumpers, has anyone gone from wood to electric or gas, i want to remove my wood burner, its a silly thing
