Hi Everyone,just wondered how prices compare in France for things like a new sofa suites like those corner units and dining table and chairs,beds. Hope to be moving over in June and just wondered if it is cheaper to re- buy rather than pay costs of furniture removal. Any advice/info much appreciated. PS Do Conforama have a website? Hi Everyone,great site and really appreciate people taking time to post experiences and info. Hopefully we are moving to St.Gerard de Corps nr.Montpon in a few months and wondered if anyone has any advice regarding removal companies? We will probably only need part load and am trying to find most economical options. Also does anyone know if there are companies that move pets and furniture together as we have three cats to transport. Anyway just exploring options at present so any advice greatly appreciated. I beleive the "clause tontine" is advisable to acheive this outcome and at what stage should such a clause be in place i.e when the final contract is drawn up with the Notaire. I received  a selection of  various potted herbs as a leaving present from my previous job and wondered what if any are the restrictions/controls on taking plants into France. Hi,this is my first time posting here and as we are hopefully moving to France in June it is good to read about other peoples successful  and happy cat moves. Please can anyone tell me what & when is required to do in terms of innoculations,chipping,flea/worm treatments etc to move cats into France. Is it the same as the pet passport which I believe is more about returning pets or is it the same? Any info much appreciated. With Thanks Vivi
