  1. Not everyone has the option to move back to England after receiving a cancer diagnosis. My husband works here and my children are at school here. Our life is here! And even though my French is pretty good, CSF is useful for helping you to understand how the system works in France and what are the right questions to ask. They can help you not to feel so alone when you are surrounded by French natives who all seem to understand what is going on and you don't. It's a shame there isn't a group more local to the Bordeaux area!!
  2. Hi Liz, We live in hamlet about 2km South-West of Lesparre.  We've been here for 5 years. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about life in the Medoc!  [:)]
  3. Hi, Just read your post.  Yes, there are Brits in the Medoc but we are few and far between.  I've been living here for 5 years now with my husband and 2 children and actually enjoy the fact that there aren't many Brits here.  After all, we wanted to live in France!!!  And it does force you to get out there and integrate.  However, I understand your reasons for wanting to find fellow Brits in the area because it always nice to have a chat and share experiences.  If you live near the Lesparre area or even further afield, please get in touch.  And I completely agree with your description of the Medoc, it really is a beautiful place.....
