  2. Does anyone know of a keyholding service / company in the Nimes area.  We have a house ion calvisson and will need someone to do security checks, changeovers and airport pick ups.
  3. Thankyou Gardian, we are sorted out now.  I have responded to all who pm'd - sorry if your response never reached you.
  4. My husband and I and our two children are looking for somewhere to stay when we come over to sort our house purchase out.   We have not booked flights yet but it would be for about a week and from 13th - 20th probably.   Can you help or recommend anywhere? Katie
  5. No not moved in yet!  Build was delayed and we go over to exchange and collect keys in Feb.  We are desperately trying to find some b&b or suitable accomodation near calvisson for 13th - 20th for 2 adults 2 children.  Any idea where we can try?
  6. Thankyou for the last few replies.  As this is my first post on here, if I had had only the first two replies I don't think I would have bothered again! Its great news about the weather.  When does the sunreally start to shine then?  April?
  7. My husband and I are about to exchange on a hoilday home in Calvisson.  We have already had 2 properties in normandy but since having children we decided we would be better in the south of France for he sunny weather. the last 2 years holidays with the children have been awful as they want the beaches and swimming every day.  The beach was a 1.5hr drive away adn it was never warm enough for the pool!!! Our houses were in the middle of nowhere and the children were quickly bored. Are we being optimistic in thinking we are guarenteed sunshine in July and August?  The house we have bought is a new build on a complex where there is a pool and activities so we think we've go the kids covered there! I'm beginning to get nervous as we've never actually visited the house / area.  Some people would think we are barmy mad but we bought our first two houses like this and we have a 'sell up if you dont like it' attitude. So ... what's the best thing about the languedoc?!??
  8. We're looking for someone who can be a key holder for our property in Mayenne - with various duties!  We are currently trying to sell this property and would like someone to be available to show British people around.  Our French neighbours keep an eye on the property but do not speak very good English and the estate agent can not always fit Brit appointments in at short notice. We would  like someone who could spend half an hour making sure the place looked 'lived in' and 'homely' for viewings (eg light fire, open shutters, quick brush up, flowers etc.) We rent the property out occasionally so we also need someone who could greet guests with a key, show them around, take a bond deposit from them and then, on their leaving, collect the key and check the place over before they leave.  After their stay we would require a thorough clean. Anyone interested?!?
