  1. It works if you aim at the wall above the mirror;light then illuminates the face without glare.

  4. Not only just as a UK resident but your policy,not the certificate,will normally contain a statement that for the insurance to be valid the car must be roadworthy and LEGAL.

    Do not CONFUSE "French" CV with "EU" CV;they are two entirely different things.
  19. When my wife and I go thro' security my wife refuses to move until I'm at the other end to receive her possesssions.
  20. Not only tax-free but not insured-he may claim to be insured-even have a piece of paper to say he is-but it is worth nothing.Does he have the Finance co.'s permission to take the car out of the country-if he hasn't,it's a stolen car-even if he keeps up the payments.
  21. I would always ask to see the room first-not to pick holes but to check that it is as advertised.
  22. My neighbour's brother and mother bought a place in France and asked my neighbour to go in with them on the purchase(he could afford it)-he didn't but always moaned later when he wanted to go there and they charged him-I always said NO when he enquired about our place.
