  1. Thanks, Pickles. My original reading was that the DAB was seen as a top of the range alternative to FM, but the little black blobs (that's the Citroen employees when not on strike) seem to suggest an enhancement rather than an alternative. Of course, once I find one at the right price, I will ask the sales "executive", and will be 100% confident he (why not a she?) will immediately give me a full and accurate answer. Debabaudus
  2. I am looking to buy a nearly new Citroen C4 Picasso in the UK, and then reregister it over here (in the Limousin) I am fairly up to date with all the admin required to register, but I notice that the spec for the new UK version of the Picasso includes a DAB radio. I think that DAB doesn't work in France....so could I be left with a car with no radio (just CD and MP3°? Any help gratefully received Debabaudus
  3. Just did Calais to nr Limoges on Sunday, towing a horsebox full of furniture. Pretty much of a doddle via Rouen, Chartres and Orleans. It is the new bit of N154 after Chartres that is now fully dualled and open. As others have indicated, the A28 is the relatively new motorway from Rouen to Alencon (and then on to Le Mans and Tours) Recently, I've usually gone back up to the channel ports that way, via Poitiers. Longer but quicker for me than via Orleans. If heading for Bordeaux and then Spain, it's quicker (but more expensive in tolls) than the A20. If going to Spain via Toulouse, I'd probably still use the Orleans route. I've never had much joy going via Paris itself - seem to end up lost in Versailles, or stuck on the peripherique (even on a Sunday)
