  5. Please dont think I am ungrateful to the worms in my garden but the lawn now looks like it has thousands and thousands and thousands of mini mole hills when infact they are worm hills, so many I can hardly see any grass, this is our first 3 months in France and to our garden can anyone advise me what to do, I also guess thats why we have hundreds of mole hills too!

  13. Hi, does anyone know of a short term let near Marciac or surrounding areas, we have 2 small, well behaved non moulting Bichon Frise, we would probably want a 3 or 4 months let I would think while we do some househunting.
  14. Thanks Pat, thats really helpful, no fortunatly we dont need to work although may have to look at Auto E as a way of accessing the health system until we reach retirement age. We really liked the area and had lunch in Marciac which was lovely. Just emailed the agent with a few house questions before we consider making an offer!! Pauline

  18. I read these animal threads every night, sometimes I go to bed and worry others like this time I go to bed and sleep although I never forget the dogs still needing homes, I hope when we eventually get over to live in France that I will be able to help and rescue a dog or two to go with our little Bichons. Well done to all the folk that work tirelessly to make happy endings you are truly wonderful people. x
