We are also moving from Oz to France but we also hold Brit passports as well.After three months and before a year you will have to apply for permanant residents...I'm sure someone else on here will give you more info on that but I dont think getting to live in France full time will be a problem for you....[:)]

These two numbers simply tell the DSL equipment on both ends that they should talk to each other, almost the same as replacing a dialed number. Each DSL Provider uses a set of these two numbers.Below is an example of three providers....You change these within the modem by entering it settings. When I move from Australia to France this year will my ADSL modem work on your phone system ?I did contact Netcomm but they seemed a bit unsure mumbling something about the FT line code system may be different.....I have a Netcomm NB1300 Plus 4.

Maybe its just the way I see them.But to be there seems to be a lot....maybe I'm just looking at it...errr....ummm....one eyed.[:D]

Not sure if this comes under the heading of culture but I have been house hunting on the net for well over nine months and have been amazed at the amount of one bedroom houses there are out there.It must be well over 50%.When the French couples married and had kids the bedroom must have been very cramped.I just cant see the point in having a one bedroom house.

Do they have Credit Unions if France.We have them here in Oz.They are the same as banks.Borrowings and saving and the charges are all but none exsistance.I am a member of one here and was looking at an alternative rather than using  banks..

I have a Netcom NB 1300 plus on my system here in Australia.I checked with Netcom to see if it would be ok to use when I moved to France and the said no as the FT sytem would no except it saying it was a different code system...
