Its very sunny here, just off to hide some eggs around the farm. Just hope the kids don't peek or the cats give the game away. Choctastic to you all.

Thanks for replying, I should have said aged 8, so its more of a booster seat than a car seat. I bought one last year from HyperU on a promo, I think I paid about 6.00euros. Does anyone know, apart from the supermarkets, where I can get one. Thanks

I don't know if it was the only time he threw a punch and I'm sure many would have reacted in the same way, but its hardly a way to act when in the public eye. Surely lead by example, its hardly a way for a politician, a man of importance who aides the decisions of a country to behave. Did he get prosecuted in the end? -
Hello I have a friend coming to France next week and I need another car seat. Any ideas where I could get one? I live in dept 79. Thanks

That's dispruning.

Need to apply for CPAM, but not entitled to E106
Unknown replied to Veloiste's topic in French Legal Issues
I couldn't have a E106 either and Newcastle sent me a letter in French and English. I gave it with all the relevant paperwork and got my carte vital. -
If the second issue is between a blog writer and Forum Admin, why are so many other people chipping in expecting and commenting on the apology given? Surely if PG is not satisfied with the apology given and the action that Archant has undertaken to do, it is for her to say, not for others to use this topic as a side swipe at Forum Admin about the banning of a poster whether or not that decision was correct, fair or otherwise.
Cool Ron Two topical forum members in one post.

Eslier Yes I did get your email as I think you probably already know. My complaint is the moderators aren't going to do anything about it. RH last night suggested I use the report button if I'm not happy about something, which I did, but you have categorically told me nothing is going to be done. Go figure.
-
You are all off your trolleys.
-
Hello RH Well I'm really glad I pressed that report button. It would seem no body gives a stuff what I think. The button is there but press it and guess what? Nothing. What's the point.

I grt disillusioned too, but some of the people on this forum are no longer due to the way the forum gets run sometimes. Its a great pity as usually the forum is a wealth of knowledge, so useful to those looking to move to France or those which have and are finding it all a bit of a mine field. Sadly some of the older members have left not necessarily of there own free will, some have left because of this. It is important to some of us that have used these sorces which helped with schooling questions or which is the best whipped cream substitute.

So come on you cowardly person, own up to being Fiat Lux on possums forum.
And that's the problem with this thread Will, quite often it's the second party's (readers) interpretation of what is being said that causes the problem, the writer is then 'attacked' in response and the threads degenerate into the condition on this thread - an argument, mis-interpretation of what has been posted and posturing. And to clarify a point, this isn't 'our' forum as Will suggested in one of his messages, last time I looked it was the Living France Forum, owned by Archant, we just get to use it. It has rules and if a user repeatedly breaks the rules and continues to do so after being warned by the appropriate people, they are likely to have their registrations terminated. Surely if people are so uncomfortable with the rules here they could go elsewhere though from what I hear from a Miki supporter, he has also been banned from one of the other France groups as has at least one of his supporters here.
Tony Is it necessary to talk about people that have been banned. You have just said its hearsay, so perhaps it would be prudent to 'check' first. Secondly, its unfair of you to mention someones name, when they can't respond. Dotty

Gardian A serious question, have you put kids through school in France? -

I never wash them as they are too bigto put in the machine. Its cheaper to buy a new one rather than take them to the dry cleaners or the launderette. My cat peed on mine whilst OH was still in bed. Taking it to the Launderette was goingto cost 8.00euros, plus drying, it was the middle of winter. A new one cost 11.00euros, ok so it was on a special offer.
You got a new bloke for €11? Cool.
Oh no Dick blokes are much cheaper.

Good point MM.

TV You are entitled to your opinions as we all are. Its just you can't make sweeping statements about a persons characteristics when you don't know them. When one posts on here or any forum we make our thoughts public knowledge, of course not everyone is going to agree with them and we leave ourselves open to criticism. I'm happy to have what I've said critiscised and my eyes opened to more facts on a subject. I haven't an indepth knowledge of the churches and mosques in the world, my original post on this thread was 'what if I had enough money to build a church in an Islamic country would I be allowed'?

Oi leave my friend alone.

Sorry Twinks but I disagree. My son was 10 when we moved here. He will be finishing his second year at school this summer and he is settled and very happy in school here in France. He was never very interested in us moving here and for the first 6 months he probably would have jumped at the chance of moving back. Now he wouldn't hear of it. Oh and he is above average in all of his subjects having just got 14/20 for French in the 2nd trimestre. -
Like the way you offended and attacked me. Seems to be a bit of a trend with you. Threads naturally progress. As I've said before you don't sit in a pub chatting with someone about the same thing all night.
