For those visiting Scotland, Jet2 as well as flying from Edinburgh to La Rochelle (late- Spring and Summer only ) also have announced flights from Edinburgh to Toulouse, Avignon and Chamberry. Some initial prices seem low so far.

I have a question about  Ryanair and their response to the industrial action in France today Tuesday 4th April.  Does anyone agree that only Ryanair flights appear to have been cancelled across the board ( as far as I know ).? I checked BA flights to Paris, Nice and Bordeaux, etc on the BAA arrivals webpage and they  seemed to be flying today. So the air traffic controllers were working as well as baggage handlers, ground staff, etc. However, Ryanair flights to La Rochelle, Paris,  Poitier, Bergerac, Carcassone etc. were cancelled as also happened on Tuesday March 28. This has caused considerable expense to my daughters travelling on connecting flights from Scotland who have had to rebook these flights to Stansted. What could be the reason ? Should one be cynical or maybe there is a good reason somewhere?

We are travelling to Nice via Bordeaux SNCF and wish to leave our car in a secure park with easy access to Bordeaux St Jean. Can anyone help with recommendations ?

This reply probably isn't a great help but I have had similar experiences withWanadoo.fr. It is very unusual for them to reply to emails or letters ( in my simple  French  ) Despite numerous requests they have never sent me an installation kit with CDrom although they did send a letter with a password and user name. I bought my own Belkin/Micromedia wifi modem/router for 80 euros and after many attempts managed to establish a connection using the identifiers they provided and the Belkin setup instructions However, there still is a strange problem that it always takes me at least ten minutes to connect each day to Wanadoo ADSL when establishing a first connection in the morning ( I turn off my computer each night )  I don't know why there is this delay.
