7.
Is it still hot when it gets here? The website doesn't give a lot away in respect of who they are etc other than having an address in UK and one in France, and a google on the uk address throws up a completely different business http://www.charlotte-charlotte.co.uk/about-us.htm and the French one this http://www.mydelhiproperty.com/buckup/directprojectors111/directroprojectors.html ?
Ok thanks, I'll look a little deeper.
8. Hi, Has anybody ordered a curry from the UK, I have been busy on google and found this site for takeaway curry delivered to France www.uksupermarketsdirect.com    Is it worth a go or is there another ? thanks Paul
9. I agree golf is not as popular as in the UK but there over 500 courses and in the region of 500,000 licenced players. My little club has over 450 members, so if the clubs are in good condition and are at a good price its should be as easy or hard as would be to sell in UK. I have bought and sold many clubs over the last 7 yrs.
10. Maybe put a little ad on the notice board of your nearest Golf Club.
11. Thankyou, so for a garden gate class III is ok ?
12. Hi, Can anyone explain the differences in treatment/uses  for "bois autoclave classe III and classe IV" please. thanks
13. Hi, The only pitfall is turning up at midnight only to find the machine doesn't work !!!!!!   and then trying to find another hotel. It only happens to us once but  [:@][:@]
14.
Evening Paul - This is near Chateauroux which is about an hour from me. I will be very interested to hear how you get on. It seems good value too. Have a good time and nothing more than a 6 on your card. I dont like their web site - I was dizzy after looking at it.
Thanks, well the course is ok, I've played alot worse, but there were a couple of greens which were not in the best of health, ie 9th.  It was a club  team competition ( 5 am + pro)  with the 'Ligue de golf du Centre'.  We came 3rd,  lost 2nd on countback and its means we are promoted for next years cup competition, so a good weekend. [:D]
15. Very true, I hope they have spent some on the course as well !!!
16. Thanks, thats about all I could find plus the site for the hotel. I was hoping someone has first hand experience and maybe email me a scanned copy of the score card.
17. Hi, Anyone played Golf des Dryades,  36160 Pouligny-Notre-Dame, I am playing there this weekend and can find very little info on the course. thanks
18.
The reviews on Axminster's site look good. Have a look here and here
Thanks, seems good then.
19. Anybody got one of these  ?? or have comments good or bad, or maybe recommend another in the same price range,  http://www.axminster.co.uk/product.asp?pf_id=577195&name=morticer&user_search=1&sfile=1&jump=44 I am not looking to spend a fortune, as it will have alot to do initially, 60+, but not much after til I have time to 'play'. thanks
20.
Duty and TVA are charged on the landed, CIF price (cost + insurance + freight). I usually estimate that goods will cost twice their dollar price, and am then happy if it comes out lower. Sometimes goods by USPS seem to be missed by the douanes.
I have heard, also, that goods by USPS are not checked by douanes, is this true ? or just luck
21. Also if you have a look at the golf fed website    http://www.ffgolf.org  on the 'guide des golf' tab, it lists all the golfs in France with links to their websites
22. If you have a look at the golf fed website    http://www.ffgolf.org  on the 'guide des golf' tab, it lists all the golfs in France with links to their websites. Hope this helps Paul
23. Sorry not in my region, so can't help. [:(] I do have have a question for you though if I may, ( or anybody ) have you played Golf d'Aubazine ?  I ask this as I am due to play in a club team competition there in May, which is a practice round friday followed by a strokeplay rounds saturday and sunday. Is this a course which needs just 1 round to know it or is it one which needs time to learn ? thanks Paul
