  1. Not sure why copper pipe is still used in preference to plastic, but a word of warning.  If you use plastic pipe, do make sure that any brass fittings (ball valves/isolation valves etc.) are suitable for use on plastic pipe.
  2. Hello A couple of years ago I supplied a bath/shower valve and shower kit to my plumber in France, and he did an excellent job on the installation.  I have just done the same again (different house), sending a shower valve and kit and a bath/shower valve and kit. 
  3. Having read a couple of notes regarding walls, we have a similar problem.  Previous occupant, smothered the walls with very rough 'plaster' and now damp is seeping through leaving black mould.  Do we remove 'plaster' and leave natural, or do we remove plaster, insert a frame, and cover with plaster board?  If we leave it natural is there a finishing liquid we can use, to stop the mortar falling out - this is happening in one of the bedrooms.
