Hi Jo I was very interested to read your posting as I have a 15 yr old daughter who started school in France in September and is very unhappy, she is refusing to go to school anymore, but she doesnt want to go back to England to finish school, so I was very interested to read about your daughter studying for her GCSE's at home which may be a possibility for my daughter, I would be very gratefull if you could tell me how to go about this any information would be helpfull.  Good luck to your daughter. Hi Issie, We have just bought a house in Gers near Mirande, my husband is out there allready starting renovating our house,he is a carpenter to. I am still in England untill our house is sold but hope to be there in about 6 weeks. Gers is beautifull and it feels like home to me everyone we have met is very friendly and I would say go for it, we wish we had done it when our children were younger. Dear Claire, We to are moving to Gers, near Mirande, that is myself, husband and 3 daughters, we are taking our 4 horses with us.
