  1. Hi We visited vivelafrance on saturday, and YES I've never seen a baguette in france look so bland, where did they get them? M&S, Waitrose and even Tesco, look and taste better than they did!!!! I was disappointed to say the least, and why wasn't there a crepe stall, you can get them on french markets, so why not at vivalafrance. Will you visit next year?
  2. We have the ideal 2 bedroom holiday home, 5 mins from the beach, local restaurants, communal pool ect. ect. But have fears of the expense, how to advertise, and knowledge of who would be staying in our place, are these normal fears? if so how do you overcome them? and what is the easiest way to start. We live in the 34 dept (vias plage). Any advise will be gratefully received. sloe
  3. Any indications when the water bills are due,(dept 34) I'm worried the bill will be sent to our french house and as we not out until May we will miss the payment. Does anyone who we should contact? Reply's gratefully received. sloe
  4. We have a holiday home in Vias Plage, on our many trips around the area, we came across numerous bottle's of water in front of village homes, some hanging from string and other's just placed in front of the door. If anyone can explain the reason I would be grateful as it has totally mystified me. sloe
  5. I purchase numerous french magazines, however all seem to repeat the same areas. Having just purchased a property in the Languedoc area, I am really keen to read about some of the hidden gems, why dont you take the lead and be indiviual, report on an area the other mags haven't discovered, the villages and restaurants, even beach holiday areas, it's not only homeowner who purchase the fab mag. What do you think? sloe
