1. That speed is rather slow and you may well suffer a lot of buffering. You may get a better connection by not using Wi-Fi and using an Ethernet connection, this solved my problem. If your router is too far away from your set you could consider using an Ethernet connection via you mains. Baz
2. If there is not a leak you can cure the problem permanently by replacing the existing radiator air valve with an automatic bleed valve. Very cheap and easy to do and do not even have to drain the radiator. Look here for an example: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pack-Radiator-Auto-Bleed-Valves/dp/B009OAIAEA Baz

4. A difficult question to answer as the quality and thickness of the liner would have to be taken into consideration. I have been advised that above 28C may considerably reduce the life of the average liner. If you are looking for temperatures in the 30s then a hot tub may be a better and less costly solution. Baz
5. Press and hold down "Control" then press + to increase size and - to decrease. Baz
6. Whilst this will not solve your problem, I would strongly recommend that you immediately change your email password if you are worried that your email addresses may be used. Baz
7. The link you supplied refers to 12 Feb 2009, so I wonder what is the point of your posting if this is now 3 years old. Baz
8.

Here's my monies worth and how I would tackle it. Get out and about and visit some shops like Darty etc and have a look at the TV's on display and see which ones have the picture you like because at the end of the day it's down to personal choice of picture quality. A good source of info is also Which magazine if you have an account (or perhaps a family member does).
Witch magazine, one of the greatest rip offs on the planet. Absolutely not needed now we have the Internet, only read by people who are too old to own a computer. The cost of Witch magazine per year, ha you could go out and buy the most expensive item and forget Witch reviews, every 3-4 years you could throw the item away for what you wasted in Witch subscription.
Théière, I am very surprised at your comments about Which and I find your comments totally out of date. I resubscribed to Which some 15 months ago and how it has changed since I was last a member. It now provides in addition to the magazines, weekly internet newsletter updates on products, cars, money etc, a free computer problem solving service. Which Local  has been invaluable to me by providing a free, reliable and  recommended tradespeople online service. It has saved members masses of money with its legal service, the internet site information is updated immediately to which members subscription gives full access and this just to mention a few aspects you get for a small outlay. I  have no connections with Which other than being a member. I also suspect it might benefit financially many of contributers on this site, that thanks to Which and the members  petitioning the UK government to stop the  "Excessive" fees for using a debit or credit card to buy items such as travel that the government are now ending this bad practice by the end of 2012.. 9. If you were to install a winter cover, this would prevent the majority of leaves entering the pool and it is easy to remove any leaves on the cover. These covers are not cheap but I would recommendit as a worth while investment to protect your pool. I very much doubt that a plastic cover would last after the first heavy rain, snow fall or a strong windy day. Baz
10.
I'm planing on going to France with my husband in August. Can anyone recommend travel insurance with good cover at a reasonable price?
Why not look at a comparison site, for example: http://www.moneysupermarket.com/travel-insurance/ Baz
11.  Martin " I wondered about a freesatfromsky card".  Sorry to disappoint you, but this card will not allow the record facility to work a Sky+ box, the only option available is a subscription to Sky to enable the box to record. Baz
12. Sadly Sky in their ultimate wisdom require you to have an active sky contract to record any stations on a Sky+ Box. Without the contract being active the Sky+ box will act as a normal FTA (Free To Air) box effectively allowing you to view the FTA stations but with no recording features. I suspect as the original owner of the box probably had been given it free by Sky, so their rule of being a subscription only service is not unfair. The solution as you mentioned  would be the purchase of a freesat + HD box Baz
13. If you are going to update IE, I am surprised that IE8 is being suggested when the latest and IMO the best version ever is IE9. Baz
14. I have found them in the larger supermarkets and I suspect they will be readily available now. The prices were cheaper than the UK. Baz
15. When I upgraded about a year ago to an HD Box, I did not want a telephone connection and this was alright, provided I paid an additional charge of about £100 for the box. In fact unofficially if you disconnect the box after installation they take no action. (unless you are very unlucky). Baz
16. Before any panic sets in the rewards for abroad feature applies a new Nationwide Credit Card, the holders of existing Gold, Classic and old Reward Card the rules have not changed and are as follows: "We pass on a charge of 1% of the transaction amount which is made by a third party for converting transactions made in foreign currencies outside the Visa Europe region." If you want check this is the link, but make sure you click your current card at the top of the page: http://www.nationwide.co.uk/creditcard/managing-your-card/ratescharges.htm Baz
17. The Panasonic TV will only work on freesat with a dedicated connection. As you say you have a basic Sky box then you will need two feeds from your dish via a twin LNB. I would recommend a quad LNB even though you will only need to connect two feeds currently but it will give you the capability of adding extra feeds in the future should you wish to upgrade your Sky box or to add a recorder. A Splitter will not work and you really need permanent connections as both Sky and Panasonic will from time to time send upgrade signals to their equipment. Baz
18.

pachapapa, I do not have the TV set but as a member of "Which" I have viewed their report. Although, I am not allowed to reproduce the report  here this may be of help to you. On their 5* rating they give 4* for standard picture quality, 5* HD picture quality and  just 3* for sound quality and a 72% overall rating. The Samsung LE40C750 is an entry-level 40-inch 3D-ready LCD HDTV, however, it falls just short of the best 3D TVs. The cons on the set are mediocre sound quality, hum from the speakers, HDMI widescreen switching. From a personal point of view having seen demonstrations of 3D, I think it is just a novelty at present with very little content choice available and in the current form may become a white elephant. It is something that I would not spend money till until at least the wearing of glasses was no longer required, which I understand may be available on a future generation of 3D Baz
Just as a matter of interest Baz what came out as 'Best Buy'?
Quillan, if you asking about 3D TV's then it was   Samsung - UE55C8000 but only at 75% which is an LED at around £3000 Baz

20.
I could not find my barclays card reader but I had one from Nationwide. I put in my details for Barclays and I was so pleased to find it worked for both!
All UK card readers are universal and therefore can be used for any Bank. Baz
21.
For those interested I read in the current edition of Which that The Norwich & Peterborough BS are scrapping foreign fees and commission from Jan 2011. 23.
SERPS will go Mrs 'Q' tells me. She for instance, being in SERPS would actually get more than £140 a week.
Could you please ask Mrs Q where she saw that SERPS will go. This was a separately funded pension scheme to provide increased benefits to a contracted in person and most benefits passable to their spouses upon their demise. Baz
24. The simple answer is yes. However, if you do not want to remove the feed from your Sky box you will need an extra feed from you your dish which means you will require a double or quad LNB with extra cabling. As for the programme have a look here: http://www.freesat.co.uk/what-you-get/our-channels Baz
25. Users of AVG free virus protection may not be aware that the 2011 version is now available for downloading, be patient as the whole process takes about 15 minutes. The new version 2011 can found here: http://download.cnet.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10320142.html Baz
