Hi We have a friend who has decided to move back to the UK, the house is in a small hamlet just outside of Mareuil, near Verteillac and Brantome. There is also a large barn that can be used for storage. We stayed there last year when we were house-hunting, and can thoroughly recommend it. The rent is about 375 per month plus bills. Following a fire in a kitchen, we have a small re-building job to do in the Riberac / Vertaillac area. This is covered by insurance so we will need a devis for plastering the kitchen wall, replacing ceiling and floorboards, and sand blasting the inside stone walls.
