  1. I'll second the proposal for the Welsh Pub. It's very traditional with waiters in waistcoats and long aprons, and the food is good too. If you want a smaller place with a more intimate atmosphere, Le Doyen, in rue Doyen, I think, a narrow street to the left if you stand with your back to the Welsh Pub. It's very small, only five or six tables, and run by a man who cooks and a woman who serves and does everything else.
  2. The airfield is at Verchocq near Fruges. I understand there is a hangar and a restaurant as well. I will e-mail you the details in case putting them here constitutes advertising. Patrick
  3. There's a farm near Fruges where the farmer has created a strip for light aircraft. I can't remember the name right now but I will look it up and get back later. What length of runway would you need?
