Thanks for that. I forgot to add that it is only 2 rooms i shall be having that is why the sum of 1750 quoted. This info came from a friend of a freind who had been to a notaire for the info. Where do you reg at & is it a one off payment of 50 euros ?

Just when i thought i had got my head around setting up a b&b,  i  have now been told that if i earn more than 1750 euros a year, then i must register as a professional. Is this true i thought i just had too declare my tax. Anybody explain this too me AGAIN.

Does anyone know if there are any yoga classes near ruffec , or is there anyone out there who is a yoga teacher who would like to teach a group of french/english women, We can arrange the venue for weekly sessions

Can anyone tell how you go about registering that you are living in France. I went to the the local  Hotel Impot to inform them that i had been living in france now for 6 months & France would now be my country of residence, the gentleman behind the desk was very & unhelpful & told me to come back next spring for my tax forms, & gave no further info. So have i got it wrong, or who do i inform if anyone ?
