1. VERY very nicely done JJ! I so love seeing everybodys work, ideas and inspiration are all around us! Don't know if you can source an Oak log with 40-50 cms heartwood & perhaps 1m high JJ? I'll chuck a few more saws in the car and we'll do it BIG! Just out of interest, how long start to finish for each one?
2. Dang Gay, is your daughter into chainsaw carvers?
3. Twinks, Katie, Meg & Mog & all the old baddies?
4. That mutt definitely needs some nip and tuck!
5.
No doubt the lady concerned has already got you sussed out, you men are SO slow to get sorted
You underestimate a North Norfolk boy with a fresh easterly behind him Polly![:P]   Already sorted Sweet! Thanks Catalpa...15-20 minutes doesn't seem very long? He has got ALOT of energy.
6. Yeah I'd like a crack at that too Chancer but out of a log & with chansaws.
7. Very nice JJ, finished by hand/carved? The style lends itself to BIG, like going out & finding the biggest candle you can and making the holder to suit. As for right & left...no idea, perhaps our brains work easier in one direction than the other?
8. Willco Polly but trying to break in a new woman and a puppy at the same time is hard work!
9. No Wooly you got it wrong, harangue are those delicious little sweet things that come in pretty colours with different fillings, best consumed while drinking coffee in Med bar whilst people watching! I've taken the advice of folk who know alot better than me (I wouldn't have asked the question otherwise) taken him to the vet and he's got treatment for worms and a special diet for five days. Vet was superb, she took half an hour doing her job and checked him over thoroughly. Thanks for all the advice.
10. Then there are those of us who will be astonished to make it to retirement age!
11. Haven't taken him to vet, we walked him for an hour last night and he was full of it, got back & he wolfed down chicken and rice and drank loads, this morning he's fine, laid into the rat dogs and chickens again, do I honestly need to go to vet tomm? Maybe it's just the stress of being with me? [6] GSD Polly. He's taken to one of my climbing ropes!
12. Great link Coops, thanks...gonna steam bend and carve me a bed for my little baby Boy!
13. Breeder sorted everything. I've spent A LONG time looking for the right breeder, the right lineage, the right parents and the right puppy for me and FINALLY I found him....his personality is really very special. He and his wife are passionate about their dogs and Mummy, Daddy, Grandma and Papi are magnificent animals and a credit to their breeders dedication. It's a real honour to count Fagus as a new family member...piccies tomm.
14. Nine weeks Christine, don't know if first lot of injections etc include worming? He's chipped and I have his health card. He's gained 700 grammes in seven days and is giving hell to partners little rat dogs and chickens, his spirits are great and he doesn't show any signs of distress or illness...just runny doodoos!
15.
Are you the Alpha? Or is the missus? Otherwise tiger faeces might help?
Neither of us John, it's sort of a one sided democracy with the kids winning most of the time! No more bunny boilers for me!
16. Thanks for all the advice, I'm certainly not going to get cross with him 'cos one day he might just get cross back & he's going to be one big dude! Next question, diarroea, he's had it for five days now, I'm syringing smecta into him daily, he's eating well and taking plenty of liquids down. The food is Royal Canin junior 32.
17. OK Coops, let's do pervy, perhaps combine steam bending with twister? Bending bodies has sooo gotta be more fun than bending wood!!
18. You lot do my head in! I'm gonna crap in his bed tonight and see how HE likes it...sort of reverse psychology?
19. You have to close down your existing business and I think you need a ten month gap until you can register for AE. The process is simple. Good luck.
20. HOW do I get him to do his number twos outside? It's costing a fortune in kitchen roll!
21. Anyone got any practical experience or can recommend some good reading material on the subject? And for those of you with dirty minds, no it's not some sort of pervy party game!
22. Yup got it, had to go home to hermitland but nurse let me back out to play again! Off to see some 5 day old GS pups with ma copine...she got all broody when she saw Fagus! I'll drop you a note later.
23. Coops, like most others on here, you are a genuine good guy, perhaps we haven't met face to face but I don't need to meet folk like like you to know where yourr heart and spirit is at. We all suffer from time to time, albeit in different ways but like you said, there are very many paople who are much worse off than us, we're the lucky ones like you and I have learned out the hard way...no I've never lost my sense of humour, black as it might be...keep on keeping on Coops..Love.X Wotcha Cathy, you're very kind...it's folk like y,all who make the difference. Thankyou. X Hi WJT...you get you trees sorted? Did we really scrap? Good to hear from you. X And Sweet, you're sweeter in person than on the 'pooter if that's possible? X
24. And for some of us the forum has worked in ways that I could never describe, nor would  I want to. I guess you get what you give and not all folk are bad or takers?
