Does anyone have a property that they would like to let out for 6 months plus? Something within 30mins drive of Perigueux would be terrific. Ideally starting from mid-July, if not then late August onwards. We need a base to search for a house/plot of land and send the children to school in Perigueux. We are a family of 4, non-smokers (with 2 hamsters!). Thanks

We are about to make the move from the UK over to France, having chosen the area around Perigueux as our destination. We have 2 children, just about to turn 11 and 8. Both have been learning French at school but are by no means fluent. Can anyone recommend schools in this area? Have printed off a very long list from the Mairie's website, but you can't beat personal recommendation. Advice sincerely appreciated.
