1.
We have two dogs whose passports are full & need new ones. Does anybody know whether French vets are able to do the renewal if the passports were originally supplied in the UK? My understanding is that these passports are a European document as opposed to just UK? We travel to & from UK several times a year as we have a 'maison secondaire' in France.
I should check with your vet in the UK.  I believe DEFRA just issue extra pages to insert into the original passport.  This is what happened to some friends of mine when their dog's passport was full. Your french vet may also be able to obtain "extra" pages.  Bernice

    Wisteria

"Greffer" is to graft on a plant or tree.  Here's a bit about grafting on wisteria http://www.rustica.fr/articles-jardin/arbres-et-arbustes/greffer-glycine,7058.html Bernice
  4. There is no definitive list of ingredients, it varies with each supplier.  Some mixes contain dried rose petals which could account for the sweet taste, rose water is common in Arabic cooking.  Here's a basic list - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ras_el_hanout Bernice

Ask your dentist to print out a quote (un devis) for you with the options and take or send this to your mutuelle insurance provider.  They will then let you know exactly how much will be reimbursed.  You can if you like ask for a quote from another dentist to compare although most charges are standardised. Leather care.

Lots of different products here - I think "chiffons de cirage" would be like the leather wipes you refer to - http://www.valmour.fr/entretien-cuir-1/vetements-8 I would ask in one of the furniture shops that specialise in leather furniture such as "Cuir Center" - I know it's for a jacket but the leather care products would probably be the same. 12.
We chop and change tartiflette recipes all the time. Currently the favourite is small whole pieces of potato in a creamy buttery cheesy sauce with Morbier cheese sliced over topand melted in the oven.  I often do it with sliced potatoes, sliced apples and carrots in layers and lardons and cheese. Its one of those comfort food recipes everyone adapts to their own liking.
I sometimes use chunks of boudin noir instead of lardons - tastes great! Bernice
  13. No need for cats to be treated against tapeworm, they just need the rabies vaccination.  From the DEFRA website - Tapeworm treatment – (dogs only): before entering the UK, all pet dogs (including assistance dogs) must be treated for tapeworm. The treatment must be administered by a vet not less than 24 hours and not more than 120 hours (1-5 days) before its scheduled arrival time in the UK. Bernice
