I have made bread for most of my adult life (don't ask how long!) and one year a kind girlfriend donated me a breadmaker! The reasons quoted in this thread are exactly those that led to me also donating it to someone else!!

Does anybody have milking cows and therefore some milk to sell close to Coussac-Bonneval? I would like to make a few cheeses so need quite a lot. One gallon makes one pound of hard cheese. I can collect and obviously pay the going rate, the milk cam be from more than one milking if stored correctly.

I am intrigued, can you sell things on UK ebay whilst being in France? How do you explain to buyers the postage costs etc? Presumably one has to have a sterling account but how does it all work?? Sounds as though it must be complicated!!

My husband is an Aussie too and loves it here for exactly the same reasons! Me? I just love the country ways, the fact that the area we live in is a close supportive community and it feels like the UK 25 years ago.

Hi there is an excellent English dentist in the practise located opposite the Marie Square, next to the optition. He is a Scots man I believe and is VERY gentle, treating my Aussie Sister-in-law as an emergency whilst she was here. She is terrified of dentisits but actually came out smiling! We jsut wentt into the practise and made an appointment at the desk. Good luck!
