1. This subject just makes me cry.  As we are the so called Brits dumping our dog.  Firstly it all sounds so easy to some just to get a passport sorted out.  I love my dogs they are my babies and l will not abandon them and just dump them.  But you know what we hhave nothing can't even afford shoes for my kids.  We are selling everything we have to go back and start again not easy.  I will make sure my dog goes to a good home other wise he will not go.  So not dumping him.  Life is not easy and you can't see what the future holds Wish l could. Fact is we saved rufus from a bucket of water at birth and made him a lovely home which has made him a lovely dog and it breaks my heart to rehome him.  A good friend has offered to have venus for us while we sort her passport out so we get to keep one of our babies.  Even though can't afford it that will come out the food bill But because we are renting when we go back 2 dogs will be impossible to find somewhere believe me tried. We are'nt bad people just people that can't cope no longer after five years of trying.  Yes our life is a mess. People judge you just like that.  I am so upset by this.
2. Hi,   Thankfully a good friend has offered to have Venus while we sort her passport out .   She is at the vets Friday to start the prosess of the passport
3. Hi,  I am putting this add up for a friend as she has no PC. Baby is a One year old Female small dog. Very friendly,  house trained,  great with children,  good with dogs,  cats,  chickens. She needs an enclosed garden as she does have an obsession with car Wheels and my friend has a very open garden. If it wasn't for this one thing she would make a lovely pet so thats why an inclosed garden is very important. If interested please telephone Jane on 05 55 67 22 81 She is currently living in dept 23 near Aubusson Photos will be added this evening

5. Hi,  We are looking for a new home for our dog as we are leaving France.  Rufus is a male Collie cross English setter 3 years old. He is fully house trained,  good with children, cats, other dogs, chickens, turkeys and ducks :) It's no easy task trying to find a new home for our dog.  Situations beyond our control mean that we have to go back to England in a little over a months time.  Because of the fact of him not having a pet passport it's impossible to take him with us (even though that would be our ideal solution) and it is equally impossible for us to wait here in France for the 6 month period whilst he has his jabs and blood tests.  We have hunted for "dog-sitters" or "temporary fosterers" but to no avail.  So we are left with the hard option. Rufus needs human contact.  We were given him at just 3 days old and bottle fed him throughout his infancy.  We think this is the reason that he loves to be around people and needs a good cuddle.  He is great with kids,  loves visiters,  loves walks and swimming in lakes.  My children take him out alot as he is not a handful at all.  He does traval in the car but does not find it pleasable,  he just pants alot He does like sniffing bums which can be inbarrising but it's just something he does. He is just a very friendly easy going dog. He eats dried complete food and after dinner scraps and loves a biscuit.       If anybody is interested in giving a new home to our dog or have any questions then please msg me on this forum Many thanks Lisa
6. Hi Anne,            We have lived in creuse for 5 months now in a small rural hamlet with our 3 children.  After months of me worrying myself sick about our kids going to a french local school it was in the end all for nothing as from day one they loved it.  The school has been great as our kids are the only english there and no one speaks english. The school has organised french lessons for my to older children 8 & 10 and are learning fast and my youngest son of 5 yrs is learning through play.  Unlike England our kids cant wait to go to school in the mornings. What a wait of my mind they love the school bus, the school the dinners and most of all the people as they have been so helpful and friendly. There is so much i could say and could right for ever about our experiance in france so if anyone has any questions please ask. Lisa
7. Hi all,        We live 10 minutes from Aubusson near Puy Malsignat.  We all moved here last November with 3 kids and mum and dad in tow.  We brought 2 houses next to each other and have spent the last 5 months renovating one of them.  We all Have spent that time covered in plaster mud paint and not to mention the cobwebs.  We also have heard that there are lots of english about but we never seem to see them.  What can i say about france well its been the best move we have made but the hardest thing i have ever done but wouldn't change a thing. hope to hear from you soon   Lisa & Brent
