  1. Many thanks pomme. I have compared the two declarations and the only difference I can find is that on last year's (for 2018) there is an amount pre-filled in (on Form 2042K para 6.1) against CSG deductible connue, calcule sur les revenus du patrimoine There is nothing against that for the latest declaration.
  2. Thanks pomme for your reply. That part of the calculation is fine. The figure I am querying is for the Prelevement Sociaux. Last year in this section on the Avis there was a line Credit d'impot revenus etrangers (51) - this year I don't have that and was wondering if anyone knew how that was calculated and why there isn't a credit this year.
  3. Last year I received a credit revenu etrangers (51) against the 7.5% ps charge on investment income. This year no credit appeared . Is this due to something I may or may not have done on the tax return? Many thanks in advance for any replies.
  4. Thank you so much for the link which was very helpful. Apparently you can only claim back 3 years.
  5. Thank you idun. It was a donation to a cancer charity.
  6. Have only just realised that we could claim for charitable donations and wondered how far back we could claim.
  8. Pre-filled are our name and address, bank details. For bank accounts we have to complete form 3916 - we usually list them on a blank piece of paper and send that off with form.
  9. Thank you nomoss - will fill them in manually but just wondered why they were not pre-filled as they are apparently on the on-line form.
  10. Am completing the paper forms and understood that the pre-filled form ( which we have received) would have details of the advance monthly payments taken from our Bank Account for the period September - December 2019. I am just wondering why these have not been pre-filled. Presumably we will have to enter them but where?
  11. Hi Scarlet1 - If your fosse is the same as a french fosse this is what happened with ours: We had been suffering increasing episodes of toilets backing up, blocked, wouldn't flush the stuff away etc. Called out the pump out man for an emergency pump out, all covers off, we could see that the level in the filter chamber was high with turds on the top of the pozzolana rock in the filter basket, due to that filter being blocked so the level rose up to the overflow from the main chamber into the filter chamber. He pumped the 3000 litre fosse dry, but didn't have the time or the inclination to sort out the filter. So muggins had to excavate a lot of the rock from the filter to make it physically possible to lift the filter basket. the flimsy rusty metal handle had broken long ago – the spanc inspector broke it! As far as we can backtrack the history of the fosse, installed 2004, the rock in the filter has never been changed and was a mass of black slime when we both lifted it out, very heavy even though only half full of the rock, you both have to reach down into the filter chamber and get a hand each into the hand holds in the basket - a nasty unpleasant job. Plans for this coming week are to make a decent proper stainless steel handle and attachments so the basket can be lifted out if necessary. Also I'm going to replace the 30 kg of rock in the filter with these plastic “boules” in a net. https://hydrodiv.com/home/27-filet-filt ... 70107.html To make it physically possible to lift the filter out and take it down to the compost heap to hose it or pressure wash it clean which is recommended to do every 6 months. and to change the pozzolana rock every time the fosse in pumped out. Presumably the plastic boules will be much lighter. be easier to wash out, won't clog up like the rock does and won't need changing – we will see!
  12. Not legally no. ANTS check up with the DVLA before issuing a french licence and you have to surrender the UK licence to them. Even if you get a replacement UK licence for a "lost" one and only use one of them to send to ANTS, using the the spare licence in the UK may drop you in the brown stuff, because the DVLA computer records, which have your licence details down as swapped for a french licence on their computer, can be accessed at any time by a traffic copper.
  13. Thank you Parsnips. It is confusing so will wait to hear if there is any further info re S1 holders after Brexit.
  14. Thank you Parsnips. From what you have said it looks as if they have made a mistake. Have now received interest relating to claims for 2015, 2016 and 2017!
  15. Thanks pomme. I didn't think there was anything I could claim back for in 2018 but just wanted to check as both parsnips and mint posted on this.
  16. Hi Parsnips, good to see you back. We have already been reimbursed for 2015, 2016 and 2017. For 2018 we were only charged Prélèvement de Solidarité at a flat rate of 7.5%. Are you saying that we can ask for reimbursement of this and the reason is the same, ie we have S1s and so our health cover is via the UK. Sorry to be a bit dense on this.
  17. Success at last! I contacted DGFIP via messagerie on Monday asking why, despite having received 3 letters from them on 3 January confirming the dégrèvements, we still had not received the payments into our account. I received a reply from them yesterday morning confirming that a virement had been done on 5 February. Arrived in our bank account this morning. They also sent details of how the interest has been worked out and stated that payment will be made separately.
  18. Hi mint. Last time I had to do sign an online document I printed the document out, signed it, then scanned it and emailed them a copy. Would that work for you in this instance?
  19. Thanks mint for your latest update. No wonder it takes so long to actually pay us as they seem to spend an inordinate amount of time passing paperwork around their different offices!
  20. Thanks mint. I had a letter from the Division du control fiscal in Vannes which was dated 16 December but arrived just before the New Year. This was an avis de degrevement confirming the amounts that would be paid into our account. Then we received 3 letters dated 3 January (one for each of the years claimed) confirming that a degrevement had been awarded. Nothing on our messagerie and nothing yet received in our bank account!
  21. We're still waiting. If nothing received by the end of this week will email them as it will be over a month since they wrote to me saying the money would be paid into our account. Did they also pay you the interest due?
  22. Thanks idun and woolybanana. My cookies don't get wiped automatically so this would not apply to me. I think woolybanana is probably right then - it hates me!!
  23. I don't log out when I leave the forum and have ticked the "Keep me logged in" box but each day I have to log in again. Does it just automatically log me out when I switch off?
