  1. Hi

So far in 10 years have got through 3, 2 blown-up by lightning even with a surge jobby ,one where the battery burnt out, 2 of them where not fast enough and the puter always rebooted

If you are lucky you get 3 minutes running a modem, puter and screen just enough to shut down and the bleeping during a night storm/power cut wakes the grave

I am on the forth cobling a battery from one with electronics of another
  2. It was a quick measure 9 years back my water supply was 5 foot in the air in metal pipes when I arrived most frosty mornings I had to take a blow lamp to a 20 foot length to have flowing water. I replaced the length with plastic only a few inches deep The idea was to bury them deeper when the ground thawed I never got around to it and not once has the supply failed

    Obvious Troll is obvious.

No French person asks a brit expat forum for affairs relating to French administration - especially affairs that 99% of members will not encounter.

Oh and the written English is not even remotely close to what a 19 year old French person would use

    I disagree

Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4

He has not upset anyone OK he is young but caused no offence How do you know 99%of posters have never been in a similar position

If his parent/parents were English I would have expected a knowledge of two languages I think you are being rather harsh There is no need to reply if you think he is a fake

  5. Hi

My first port of call in France 18 years back was Juillac North of Objat north of Brive

It was ('cus I left 9 years ago ) a great area but the problem was too many Brits and Dutch I gather from old friends they are pulling up sticks now and going home There are lots of ex-pats properties for sale at inflated prices Weather in early spring cold and wet

If I returned to that area which is unlikely as I now live close to the Pyrenees Tulle would be my choice
