Which poster will be the first to get the vaccine!
Kong replied to idun's topic in The Complete France Post Bag
Going for my second in four days time. Considering i'm in France I feel very lucky! -
I can't help feeling, with sympathy, that it's a great waste of emotional energy searching all over for an RDV. Quite simply we have run out of vaccine. There's some held back for second jabs but no more. Just consult sante.fr from time to time to see if vaccines have become available. When it does I don't doubt there will be a blast of publicity and only then will it be worth starting to look for an RDV.

One happy man. I had my first jab this morning.
-
Both the appointments were made on sante.fr. OH chose the first date and the site suggested the second date ( 4 weeks later). Once the dates were chosen the site redirected to doctolib where the details were taken and an email sent confirming the bookings. We are in northern Aveyron and the centre is the main hospital in Rodez. I hope this helps.
-
It's very unfair how different it seems to be depending on your location. My OH had no trouble getting two RDVs on the site for me - first and second jabs also through Doctolib the first next week at the local hospital.

Judging by the news this evening the UK is heading for a full lockdown, Boris will blather at 8:00 pm uk time.

They are still squabbling about deal or no deal. Surely they should compromise and have both. -
Yes I've had one and OH hasn't. I have an S1 but OH hasn't yet..

B*gger, I missed the contact details.

Recently, about 10 years ago I used only to go round Caen on my way south from the ferry. But about thirty years ago I sailed (ie motored) up the canal from the coast in a small flotilla of yachts when they opened all the bridges for us to reach and moor in the centre of Caen. Even that long ago the big commercial basins were empty. The experience going past the famous Pegasus bridge was great!

Over 41k yesterday. It is getting scary, I'm only 74 and I can't go clubbing. Bother.

OH refused vaccine this morning. Only those clutching the form from Ameli are getting it. No problems in previous years. Definitely a shortage!
-
Whether this will be sufficient we will see, but I like his forthrightness. I wish the blonde numpties to the North and quite far west of us were remotely so intelligent!

I thought the same, but when I went on line to pay the tax fonc there was also available the opportunity to pay the tv licence even though there was no tax d'hab. But no avis for it.

Sadly, no audience no magic...

I've been around on this forum for about nine years. In that time I've gained a lot of useful information and occasionally managed to offer some useful participation too. I would hate to see the forum go and be forced to emigrate to farcebook.

UK Quarantine for those arriving from France

So was I (young). Benjamin Britten's War Requiem performed in Westminster Abbey in 1962. A really powerful experience for someone still just in his teens.

Thank you all. It's a large cheque so I'll use the post.
