So is it the local Mairie that has the final decision on whether or not to renew a CU

I will check the exact date but I believe the Permit was granted prior to Dec 2008. However because of the economic climate the french government granted an extension to all permits of 1 year. In fact we only need to renew the CU to retain the value of the land any potential buyer can apply for their own Permit

A potential buyer can then apply for their own Permit to Construct

Hi We are trying to sell a piece of land with a permit to construct which is due to expire in March 2011.  Does anybody know if this can be extended or do you need to re apply? Any help/advice would be appreciated.
