1. I am living in a beautiful, but old house. I have a list of "to do's" that seems to go on forever. I have walls that need to be redone and floors that I want restored. I am sure eventually I will have my dream home, but the process has been so drawn out. I have a smaller budget and big ideas. What are some things that you've done that has made the most difference? I think that I will do the floors first DYI style. Chipped exterior paint may have to speak to the house's character  for another year. would you paint before landscaping the garden? I just would like to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee without seeing a project unfinished!

And don't forget they're taxed at 50% too. That's going into the system and straight out again to bail the Irish out ;)
its all teh footballers and Simon Cowell tax is what keeping the country still going.

i wonder what the sum total of all the players tax is?

I doubt very much if any footballer pays 50% tax, they are I'd imagine registered companies or such like, and like most high earners pay less percentage wise of their wages than a basic wage employee. So don't lets pretend that they're like us ordinary folk; and start feeling sorry for them  [Www]

true, but i think we'd rather they invest it than spend it women and illegal things
