  1. Rufus is in the Tarn at the moment but if somebody would be prepared to give him a home we can arrange to travel him to his new owners.  If your friend would like to know more about Rufus please tell him to contact me at :- [email protected]
  2. Looks like we have found a home for Tango!!  Busy organising his ticket to ride and my husband is going to pick him up for the first leg of his journey to a new home next week..... fingers crossed then!
  3. Tango is an 11 year old Pointer at the SPA in Carcassonne - Rowan tells me that he's going down hill fast and she was shocked by the change in him since she last saw him 10 days ago!  Please look at the link to see him and read about him - spread the word to see if there is someone to help the lovely gentle dog, urgently!  Thank you. http://doglinks.wordpress.com/2011/06/02/tango-pointer-sos-at-carcassonne-spa/
  4. Well Choo here are a few for you to ponder if you don't mind something other than Vick....http://doglinks.wordpress.com/ Also there is Phoenix in the Dordogne and there are various links on my site to other rescue refuges including Christine's - so many lovely faces waiting to grab at your heart and make your home..... a home!!  good luck
  5. OK I changed the ages - sorry about that, senior moment.  I put this post on for someone else and they wanted the amount that had been payed mentioned - of course it's irrelevant but actually it sometimes registers in SOME people's view.  Let's just get back to basics - two very lovely young Jack Russells with long lives ahead of them (I had one that lived to 21 and no I didn't get that wrong!) had all their jabs and IDs done and the very necessary neutering!  Just because you might happen to buy an expensive pedigree dog doesn't automatically mean they are just for breeding.......... it's breeding that we need to drastically curb!  But there are thousands of fickle people who would never contemplate taking a good mongrel for some absurd reason...... dear me no!  They know nothing!
  6. Max and Mindy are 18 month old pedigrees who are in a fix!  Their owner has been sectioned and is really very ill now and his wife (in her 70s) is struggling with serious financial problems left by him due to his condition.  These two dogs were purchased in one of his fits of extravagant spending for 2000 (yes thousand) €uros!  This lady doesn't want money for them just a really good home.  They are 18 months old, neutered, chipped and vaccinated and I assume will have their pedigree papers.  Copy and paste the link to see them - pictures not great but the best that we can do for now :- http://doglinks.wordpress.com/2011/05/26/maxmindy-pedigree-jack-russells-in-narbonne/
  7. Here is the link : http://doglinks.wordpress.com/2011/05/26/woody-tilly-foxyork-terrier-types-at-animal-aid-st-aubin/
  8. I picked them up fine Christine and will add them to their post on my page and bump it back up - will also Tweet and Facebook them as they look so very cute and might hopefully grab someone's attention.  Will do it later today.
  9. I would just like to add that doglinks would pay their adoption fee if this will help.  I am always reluctant to offer dogs as being 'free' because dogs never come free - they need to be properly fed, kept warm and their health taken care of....... but sometimes the thought of a double adoption fee might just turn away a good home.  So if this is the case, don't turn away from Alie and Baba for this reason, but please give them a good home.
  10. He's about six and his foster mum says he's just like a teddy bear!  Yes he loves to chase and eat hens.......but all he wants is the right owner who understands his needs (walks and affection) and he will make a really good companion.  His time is running out and he's very frustrated where he is at the moment as his foster mum is nearly ready to pop her first baby and just can't take him for long walks anymore so he's got pent up energy.  He's a really lovely boy and I hope someone will help him.  There will be money for him to be castrated if this will make a difference.
  11. Here is the link to my page that will tell you about Rufus - who needs our help or he will have to go back to refuge after having a taste of freedom and a home!  Poor boy.  If anyone out there can help him......... http://doglinks.wordpress.com/2011/05/18/rufus-sos/
  12. He is indeed gorgeous - however Amanda just because you are in the UK doesn't make you safe...........I could easily arrange for Boby to have his passport done for you!!!  But for the other difficult males I have in my care at the moment (including Scramble who is now completely mobile on his own!!!) who just love a good scrap if I let them - I would have this little boy in a heartbeat.  But I can't so I fret!
  13. OK - will keep him on the page then, poor boy .......... people make me want to spit sometimes and that's being polite as the relevant expletives would not be postable and fairly useless anyway!  He's so beautiful, someone must want him!
  14. Hi Christine - Siobain from Hope Assoication, saw my post and said she was at the SPA yesterday and spoke to Nadine there who said that they have a home for Vick??  I hope this is correct - I will leave him on the page for now unless I hear otherwise from you.
  15. Pictures would be helpful.
  16. Christine - if these two are still looking for a home, I would like to put them on my page but I can't seem to download the pictures?  Is it possible you could email them me (when you have the time that is) and I can take them from that.  They are so sweet I would love to help if I can.
  17. doglinks will stump up for his castration costs from donation funds - he's a real little character and deserves a kind home with perhaps a lady friend for company?
  18. Oh good - fingers crossed then!  What about Woody?  Shall I put him on my site for you?  He's so sweet I can't imagine he won't find a home really quickly.  but let me know.
